Shamong Office of Emergency Management’s Special Hotline Phone rang earlier this month, and on the other end of the phone was an elf (not the one on the shelf) who passed on a rumor that Santa Claus might be arranging travel through Shamong (or Indian Mills according to the cat) on Dec. 21 with our friends at Indian Mills Volunteer Fire Co. with a rain date of Dec. 22.
