Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. there will be a flag raising ceremony in celebration of organ and tissue donors at Virtua Marlton Hospital, 90 Brick Road in Evesham Township.
Gift of Life Donor Program and Virtua Health join together to honor the life-saving gifts made by organ and tissue donors at Virtua’s Marlton hospital with a ceremonial flag raising. Moving forward, Virtua will raise a flag to honor every organ donor at the time of donation.
Everyone will gather at the flagpole for remarks from Gift of Life Donor Program and Virtua staff. A liver transplant recipient will discuss how an organ donor’s gift saved his life.
Virtua Marlton Hospital joins Virtua Memorial Hospital in this special initiative to honor and celebrate the life of organ and tissue donors.
