HMHS names new head wrestling coach

Multi-sport, honored high school and college athlete joins Bulldawg family.

On Tuesday, Haddonfield Memorial High School’s athletic office announced the hiring of Eric Hamrick as its new head wrestling coach.

Hamrick was a three-sport athlete (football, wrestling, track and field) at Collingswood High School, graduating with the class of 2011, and later went on to Springfield College where he was a four-year wrestler before graduating in 2015.

In high school, Hamrick was a Colonial Conference First Team selection in football for both 2009 and 2010, while captaining and putting in MVP-level performances during the 2010 and 2011 campaigns for the Panthers, and currently holds the all-time wins record for Collingswood wrestlers at 138. All told, Hamrick racked up three Camden County Championships, three First Team All Colonial Conference honors, three-time All Group 1 South Jersey honors, one All South Jersey selection (2011), three-time District Champion, three-time Regional place winner, and a Region 7 Champion in 2011.
