Learn how to care for yourself while caring for others. Laurel Brook Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a Marquis Health Services member in Mount Laurel, will host a free caregiver support presentation open to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event is part of the nursing facility’s community outreach programming.
The meeting will focus on the importance of self care and provide strategies for caregivers to better care for themselves while caring for their loved ones. Presenting speakers include Judy Spillane and Michelle Litwack of Aleph Home Care. Participants also will have the opportunity to engage in a general discussion, getting tips and peer-to-peer support. Refreshments will be served.
