Tabernacle Fire Company hosts fire prevention night

Residents stopped by the firehouse to check out the trucks, equipments and meet the firefighter of Tabernacle.

The Tabernacle Fire Company welcomed residents and other surrounding fire companies to stop by their station as they host Fire Prevention Night on Oct. 7.

The fire company held a live demonstration on how they put out fires, which included two rooms that were ignited and one was equipped with a sprinkler system. Alice Holmes of New Jersey Task Force One was present to also show spectators how their K9s search and rescue people.

The free event served as an open house for the fire company as they show curious onlookers what the company does on a daily basis.
