Do you enjoy baseball? Stories about patriotism? Or tales of personal growth?

If so, please join Rowan College at Burlington County at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, as we host a screening of “Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel”. This documentary tells the story of Israel’s national baseball team as it competes for the first time in the World Baseball Classic. The team’s roster includes many Jewish-American major leaguers, most with a tenuous relationship to Judaism. Throughout the film, the team laughs, cries and does much soul-searching, discovering the pride of representing Israel on the world stage.

Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel has won five awards, including Best Documentary at the 2018 Gold Coast International Film Festival.

This screening is free and open to the public; all ages are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
