Occupational Training Center of Burlington County hosting Topgolf fundraiser

The event is open to members of the public that are interested in supporting the OTC’s mission to help individuals with disabilities reach their maximum potential.

The Occupational Training Center of Burlington County (OTC) will host its first-ever annual events fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Mt. Laurel Topgolf location. Proceeds from the day will help support the annual events hosted by the OTC including their Dinner Dance, Family Fun Day, Annual Picnic and more for the individuals with disabilities they serve. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available at www.otcbc.org/topgolf.

The event is open to members of the public that are interested in supporting the OTC’s mission to help individuals with disabilities reach their maximum potential. They are invited to come out for a day of games, delicious food, raffles and more. Interested individuals can purchase a single ticket for $60 or a Topgolf bay, which holds six people, for $300.

“We’re proud to host this fun, social event in order to highlight the importance of offering the same kind of experiences for our program participants,” said Jeff Haines, Executive Director of the Occupational Training Center of Burlington County. “By purchasing a ticket to play Topgolf or signing on as a sponsor, you’re helping us provide additional social opportunities to our clients outside of the workplace.”

In addition to preparing program participants for vocational success, the OTC works to create positive social experiences for the individuals with disabilities in its programs. Every year the OTC organizes its annual events for program participants and staff to promote camaraderie as well as the development of social and emotional skills. These annual events provide a much-needed outlet for participants and create opportunities to strengthen friendships both in and out of the workplace.
