HPL to hold programming workshop for teens

Free class geared toward middle-school girls.

The Haddonfield Public Library will hold a free workshop on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

This workshop, which is targeted towards middle school girls in grades 6-8, will explore how to program using Python. We will start with learning Python’s simple data types, including numbers, letters and strings, and lists. We will also explore comparisons, if‐statements, and loops. Finally, we will combine our new knowledge by creating our own game using the PyGame library.
