Freeholder Jim Jefferson participated in the 12th annual Real Men Read program on Sept. 25 at the Thomas E. Bowe School. This program bolsters reading among boys through peer-to-peer book discussions, teacher-guided meetings, rewards for reading, mentorship and community service.

Real Men Read transforms disinterested readers into passionate readers who then take their love of reading to younger students throughout the Glassboro School District.
