Burlington County Silent Witness Project sponsoring exhibit for victims of domestic abuse

According to the Burlington County Silent Witness Project, the exhibit will feature speakers and a display of silhouette figures that represent local residents who lost their lives through acts of domestic violence.

October is Domestic Abuse Month. To honor victims of abuse, the Burlington County Silent Witness Project is sponsoring an exhibit commemorating county residents who have been murdered through acts of domestic violence.

The exhibit will be taking place this Friday, Oct. 4, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Rowan College at Burlington County’s Mount Holly campus.

According to the Burlington County Silent Witness Project, the exhibit will feature speakers and a display of silhouette figures that represent local residents who lost their lives through acts of domestic violence. The event will also serve as a way to encourage individuals who are currently in an abusive or dangerous relationship or situation to come forward and seek out the assistance offered by various social service organizations.
