Marlton United Methodist Church collecting donations for troops overseas

Donations may be dropped at the church Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sunday mornings.

Marlton United Methodist Church is soliciting your help in honoring the brave men and women serving overseas. In conjunction with Operation Yellow Ribbon, we will be collecting items to ship.

Donations may be dropped at the church Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Sunday mornings. The church is located at the corner of Plymouth Drive and Marlborough Avenue off Route 70 in Marlton.

The gathering of donations will commence on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and continue until Sunday, Nov. 10.

As we enjoy the beautiful days of autumn, thoughts naturally drift to pumpkin pies, holidays shared with family and friends, etc. For our troops this will not be possible as they serve on foreign soil. Please help to let them know we appreciate, love and support them and they are not forgotten.

Each one of us can give a little to those who ask nothing but are willing to give everything.

Please consider placing a collection box at your school, work place, church, business, organization meeting etc.

Some items requested include foot powder, shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, protein energy bars, baby wipes, deodorant, body wash, body lotion, beef jerky, tissues and ladies hygiene products. For a complete list visit operationyellowribbon.org.

For more information about the drive email troops2019@gmail.com.
