Check out the upcoming fall events in Mantua

There are plenty of spooky and harvest-like events to visit during the upcoming Fall season.

Get your rakes, the leaves are coming! And so is a bunch of fun-filled events for you and your family to enjoy during the fall season. From spooky hayrides to family fun nights, check out some of the events to look forward to in and around Mantua.

Fall Senior Expo
On Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., senior citizens, caretakers, boomers and anyone who is interested in learning about resources for the elderly are welcome to gather at Total Turf Experience, located at 614 Lambs Road, Pitman. The event will also host an antique appraisal show. 

Guests can enjoy more than 60 exhibitors, prizes, music, food sampling, pickleball tournament viewing, tours of OnSite BrewPub and plenty of vendors. 

There will be fundraising efforts to benefit People for People and Veterans Resource Center.

Glassboro Craft Beer Festival
In addition to all the breweries, there will be a variety of food and craft vendors with live music on Sept. 28 located at Glassboro Town Square, 1 West High St. Standard session starts at 1 p.m. and VIP session starts at noon. The event ends at 5 p.m with the last entry at 3:30 p.m. at the last pour at 4:45 p.m. For more information, search Glassboro Craft Beer Festival on Facebook. Creamy Acres Night of Terror
Take a short drive to the neighboring town of Mullica Hill for spooky nights at Creamy Acres Night of Terror. From Sept. 20 to Nov. 2, take a trip to Night of Terror’s four terrifying haunted attractions. The event will be available every Thursday to Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at www.nightofterror.com

Fall Family Fun Night
Bring the whole family to Duffields Farm in Sewell as it hosts its Fall Family Fun Night on Oct. 11 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The farm is located at 280 Chapel Heights Road. Guests can enjoy a s’mores pit, corn maze by flashlight, photo booth, crafts and a DJ. Visitors can indulge in food and face painting for an extra price. This year, tickets will be on sale for $8 per person in advance at the market or available through Eventbrite.

Incarnation’s Annual Oktoberfest
This event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. in the Kernan Center at The Church of Incarnation. Enjoy an evening of Live Music, Bratwurst, Beer, Bavarian Pretzels, and more. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at www.incarnation-church.org

Family Fun Day
Help the Mullica Hill Branch Library celebrate its 25th anniversary on Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by the library for fun and games, nine-hole mini-golf, face painting, live music and food trucks. 

Cemetery Tour
Join the Mantua Township Historical Commission on Oct. 19 as it takes a tour of five historic township cemeteries. Tour times are from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tours will depart from the Mantua Historical Society Museum, located at 145 Mantua Blvd. The deadline to RSVP is on Oct. 15. To RSVP, call (856) 468-3838 and leave a message that includes your name, phone number and number of people wishing to attend. 

Annual Halloween Parade
Stop by Mullica Hill as the Harrison Township Recreation Commission is hosting its annual Halloween Parade on Saturday, Oct. 26 (rain date: Oct. 27) at Ella Harris Park. The parade starts at 1 p.m. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. guests can also enjoy hayrides, games and pumpkin painting. For more information, visit www.harrisontwp.us

Superhero Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Take a trip to Cedarvale Winery in Swedesboro, located at 205 Repaupo Station Road, to support the mission of the Angels Community Outreach during its wine tasting fundraiser on Oct. 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. Guests can come in a favorite superhero costume or T-shirt for a chance to win a best costume/outfit prize. Tickets cost $25 prior to the event or $30 at the door. Included in the ticket price is one door prize ticket, finger food, wine tasting or glass of wine and wine glass.
