The 38th running of the Haddonfield 5K Road Race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 and is sponsored by the Haddonfield Y’s Men’s Club. The challenging and certified race route runs through the streets of the Borough.
The race launches promptly at 9 a.m., starting and finishing at the Crows Woods Field House. Snacks and water will be available.
Entry fee for this year’s race for adults will be $30 if received before Oct. 19, $35 after that date, then $20 and $25, respectively, for runners/walkers 18 years of age and younger.
Long sleeve t-shirts will be given to all runners and race packets may be picked up the morning of Oct. 26 at the Crows Woods Field House beginning at 7:30 a.m. Awards will be presented following the race at the Field House to the top male and female finishers overall and to each of the following age groups: 14-and-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-and-over. Given the close proximity to Halloween, prizes will be given to the runners with the best costume.
Proceeds from the race will benefit youth, camping, and community activities in Haddonfield and at YMCA Camp Ockanickon. Race applications will be available soon.
