Camden County revealed on Monday afternoon, that an NJ American Water crew will be renewing a water service at 125 Avondale Avenue in Haddonfield on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The project will require Avondale to be fully closed between West Redman Avenue and West Euclid Avenue.
“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Camden County freeholder Susan Shin Angulo said in a release accompanying the announcement.
“Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
Beginning at 7 a.m., crews will close Avondale between Redman and West Euclid. Motorists will be directed along a posted detour route utilizing West Euclid, Peyton, and West Redman Avenues.
This project is expected to be completed by the end of work hours, approximately 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17. Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
