Virtua Voorhees Hospital wins award for “Consumer Loyalty”

NRC Health, the leading customer-research provider for the health care industry, recently named Virtua Voorhees to its “Top 100 Consumer Loyalty” list for 2019

The following is a release from Virtua Health, Inc.:

A major market-research company has recognized Virtua Voorhees Hospital for generating outstanding loyalty among its patients and other community members.

NRC Health, the leading customer-research provider for the health care industry, recently named Virtua Voorhees to its “Top 100 Consumer Loyalty” list for 2019. The hospital received the same honor in 2018—the list’s inaugural year.

Virtua Voorhees is one of only four N.J. hospitals to receive this year’s award and the only one in South Jersey.

NRC surveyed more than 310,000 U.S. consumers to select the 2019 winners.

Virtua President and CEO Dennis W. Pullin, attributes the accolade to his organization’s longstanding commitment to “putting people first.”

“At Virtua, we’re focused on providing great medical care, which requires listening to our patients and building relationships based on trust and understanding,” said Pullin. “Creating connections with those we serve—in times of sickness, injury, and wellness—is what makes us a true partner in people’s lives.”

NRC’s Consumer Loyalty awards are the only loyalty-based hospital rankings in the country. NRC selects honorees based on results of its Market Insights survey, the nation’s largest database of health care consumer responses. Winning organizations score exceedingly well on seven metrics of patient loyalty, including access, engagement, experience, and Net Promoter Score – a measure of how likely customers are to recommend the organization to others.

“This recognition is a reflection of the trust Virtua has built with its patient communities, and speaks to the exceptional work being done by Virtua to provide compassionate care and inspire consumer loyalty,” said Brian Wynne, vice president and general manager at NRC Health.

Virtua and the other award recipients “are leading the way toward a new, elevated standard for the patient and consumer experience,” he added.
