Rancocas Nature Center serves up fall fundraising fun

Rancocas Nature Center will hold the “Sips and Sounds at Farm,” a beer and wine tasting fundraiser this fall. Join them for a fun fall evening of live music, great food, beer and wine in a unique, rustic setting, which will support the Rancocas Nature Center. After the Saturday morning farmers’ market packs up, the FRNC fall fundraiser will set up for the 4 to 7 p.m. event on Sept. 28 in the Burlington County Agricultural Center Barn located at 500 Centerton Road in Moorestown.

Spellbound Brewery and Cream Ridge Winery will bring the beer and wine while Michael’s Event Catering will provide the food. Live music will be provided by String Radio, who will entertain guests as they peruse silent auction items or join the 50/50 raffle.

Rancocas Nature Center sits on a 210-acre piece of Rancocas State Park and features three miles of hiking trails through varied habitats including meadows, forest and wetlands, plus access to Rancocas Creek. Operating since 1977, it provides environmental education via programs both on- and off-site for groups including schools, scouts, libraries, senior citizens and the general public. The Visitors Center includes a nature gift shop, high quality bird seed for sale, live animals, natural history displays and restrooms. Grounds include a Picnic Area (carry-in/carry-out), Dragonfly Pond, Frog Pond, Beehives and Rutgers Master Gardeners of Burlco children’s, pollinator and display Gardens.
