“Dan is an excellent candidate for us in Haddonfield. He’s got a great background in education, and his job in the high school will be curriculum and instruction. He fits perfectly, so we’re really happy,” said Superintendent Larry Mussoline.

Licata had served for the past two years as assistant principal at Riverside High School in Burlington County, and prior to that worked for eight years in various capacities with Palmyra High School.

“I’m really excited about the new team; we have two new administrators: the dean of students and Dan, who’s come to us with high-school level experience. I think we’re going to continue to move forward and establish the goals we worked on last year with that new, wonderful leadership,” noted HMHS Principal Tammy McHale.

Licata holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Clemson University, and earned a master’s in educational leadership from Capella University.

“Haddonfield has a thorough hiring process, and I felt they asked some really good questions. Certainly, they’re very serious about public education and that’s something, as a candidate, that’s very attractive. Tonight was such a warm reception from the board of education. I’m very much looking forward to being in an environment where the teachers and parents are invested in the highest of expectations for their students and the community,” Licata said.
