Bike rodeo returning to Deptford Raymour & Flanigan on July 20

Children can bring their bikes to the event and traverse a Deptford Township Police safety course.

Raymour & Flanigan will host its second annual free Bike Safety Rodeo to benefit Pop’s Dream Charity from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 20. Members of the Deptford Police Department will lay out a marked safety course in the parking lot for bicycle transit, allowing for the demonstration of proper travel and hand signals. Children are encouraged to bring their own bicycle to complete the safety course, and they will be issued certificates for passing.

All participants will be awarded an entry to win a free bicycle. Pop’s Dream Charity will provide bicycles to raffle, and the giveaway, light refreshments and other fun activities will take place inside the store.

Pop’s Dream Charity provides bicycles to needy children. In addition to a new bicycle to call their own, the charity also uses the monetary donations to purchase grocery gift cards to a locally owned supermarket chain, in $100 increments, giving that child’s family the chance to buy groceries, a critical need for any family, but especially so for families facing economic challenges.

All proceeds raised at the Bike Safety Rodeo will go directly to Pop’s Dream Charity.

Raymour & Flanigan is located at 1450 Clements Bridge Road, Deptford. The store can be reached by calling (856) 853-9400.
