Evesham Police say tip from concerned resident leads to methamphetamine-related arrest

Officers responded to the 100 block of Quail Road following a tip concerning two suspicious persons sitting inside a vehicle.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On June 23 at 7:09 p.m., officers with the Evesham Township Police Department responded to the 100 block of Quail Road following a tip from a concerned resident who contacted the Evesham Police Department to report two suspicious persons sitting inside a vehicle.

Officers located the occupied vehicle, and during the investigation, ETPD K-9 Tango was summoned to the scene.

K-9 Tango was walked around the exterior of the vehicle, at which time he allegedly alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car.

A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers allegedly resulted in the discovery of methamphetamines.

Arrested:

A female, age 43, of Springfield, Pa., was charged with third-degree possession of methamphetamines. She was released on her own recognizance.

A male, age 34, of Levittown, Pa., was charged with third-degree possession of methamphetamines. He was released on her own recognizance.
