Obituary: Jeffrey M. Barry

Haddonfield resident, Philly 4-for-4 sports fan, died unexpectedly.

Jeffrey M. Barry of Haddonfield passed away unexpectedly on June 20 at the age of 51. He was the beloved husband of Kristen (nee Martin), devoted father of Abigayle, beloved son of Agnes and the late Frank R. Barry of Wenonah, N.J., dear brother of Kevin Barry (Kathleen), Maryellen Covely (John), Karen Boucher and the late Frank X. Barry, treasured uncle of Brian, Brigid, Patrick, Sean, MaryKate, Tyler, Brennen, James, Ainsley, Frank Jr., Avery, Timothy, Jack, Craig and Elizabeth and great uncle of Brigid Leone.

Jeff attended St. Margaret’s elementary school in Woodbury Heights, graduated Gateway High School in 1986, and received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers Univ.- Camden. He was actively involved in his community and enjoyed coaching Haddonfield girls’ soccer. Jeff loved Stone Harbor, the beach, boating, all the Philly sports teams, but most of all his family.

Jeff’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow promptly at 11 a.m..  Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Jeff may be made to support Abby’s future education. Please make check payable to Abigayle Barry and mail to Columbia Bank, 204 Grove Ave, West Deptford, N.J, 08086, where a college fund is being created.
