Burlington County summer concert series to begin June 28

The concerts are held at the Burlington County Amphitheater, which is located adjacent to the Burlington County Library in Westampton.

Burlington County has announced that the county will once again be hosting its summer concert series on Friday and Saturday nights, starting June 28 through Aug. 24 at the Burlington County Amphitheater.

“Join us for opening night of the summer concert season! These free concerts are a great way to get out and enjoy great entertainment right here in Burlington County,” said Burlington County Freeholder Deputy Director Balvir Singh, liaison to the Department of Resource Conservation. “We have a great line-up of bands to enjoy, so make sure to bring your family and friends!”

The concerts are held at the Burlington County Amphitheater, which is located adjacent to the Burlington County Library in Westampton. The amphitheater is home to a vast variety of talent during the summer concert series. All concerts are free. Local, acoustic entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. Headliners begin at 7 p.m., with one intermission.

Gates open at 4 p.m., and chairs and blankets are permitted. Refreshments will be available for sale. No alcoholic beverages or tobacco products will be permitted.

The Classic Stones will be kicking-off our summer concert series on Friday, June 28 with their renditions of all Rolling Stones “classics!”

On Saturday, June 29, attendees can look forward to an enjoyable interpretation of the music of the Eagles, bar none! This group recreates the songs, the music, the vocals and the aura of one The Eagles.

Officials ask that the top row of the amphitheater seating be reserved for people with mobility difficulties, such as people who require a wheelchair, walker, or cane and their caretaker.

In the event of inclement weather, performances will move to the Burlington County Institute of Technology. Decisions to move indoors are posted by 3 p.m. at http://www.co.burlington.nj.us/935/Amphitheater.
