Select pharmacies in Burlington County and across NJ distributing free naloxone on June 18

There is no individual prescription, payment, insurance or name required to receive the opioid overdose reversal drug.

The state is providing naloxone for free at participating pharmacies on Tuesday, June 18.

As described by the state Department of Human Services, naloxone can reverse opioid overdoses.

There is no individual prescription needed to receive the naloxone. There is no payment or insurance needed to receive the naloxone. There is no name needed to receive the naloxone.

Participating pharmacies in Burlington County are as follows:

  • Bordentown – Boyd’s of Bordentown, 118 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown
  • Bordentown – Mast Pharmacy and Surgical, 338 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown
  • Browns Mills – Powers Pharmacy, 558 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills
  • Cinnaminson – Walmart, 2501 S. Route 130, Cinnaminson
  • Florence – Boyd’s of Florence, 306 Broad St., Florence
  • Marlton – RiteAID, 235 N Maple Ave., Marlton
  • Marlton – Walmart, 150 E. Route 70, Marlton
  • Medford – RiteAID, 409 Stokes Road, Medford
  • Mt. Laurel – Larchmont Pharmacy, 200 Larchmont Blvd., Mt. Laurel
  • Mt. Laurel – Walmart, 934 Route 73 at Fellowship Road, Mt. Laurel

The naloxone for will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis, with a limit of one per person.
