History of ‘English Tea and Royal Weddings’ event at Mt. Laurel Library June 15

With historian Judith Krall-Russo, locals can learn about English tea traditions and etiquette, along with royal wedding customs and ceremonies.

It’s soon to be tea time at the Mt. Laurel Library – the history of tea that is.

An event focusing on the history of “English Tea” and “Royal Weddings” will take place at Mt. Laurel Library June 15 from 1 to 2 p.m.

As noted by the library’s website, for centuries the British have had a “love affair” with tea.

All classes, from the aristocracy to the working class, have enjoyed tea.

In addition, same citizens have also enjoyed the “excitement and fanfare” of their monarchs’ royal weddings.

With historian Judith Krall-Russo, locals can learn about English tea traditions and etiquette, along with royal wedding customs and ceremonies.

No registration is required for this event.
