Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice hosting open house

This free event gives attendees the opportunity to view the new exhibit, interact with the artists, tour the facility, and enjoy light refreshments

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice will host a “Meet-the-Artists” open house for its new exhibit “Art of Healing” on Tuesday, June 11. from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Samaritan Center at Voorhees, located at 265 S. Route 73 in Voorhees.

This free event gives attendees the opportunity to view the new exhibit, interact with the artists, tour the facility, and enjoy light refreshments. The exhibit, which runs through the fall, features the work of four local South Jersey/Philadelphia artists: Lisa Brown of Watchung, Suzanne Morgan of Medford, Vandella Poe of Beverly and Tremain Smith of Philadelphia.

Their exhibited works will be available for sale at the event, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Samaritan’s not-for-profit programs and services.

“We are grateful to these local, highly-regarded artists for sharing their work with our community, and offering our patients, families, visitors and staff the comforting power of healing through art,” said Mary Ann Boccolini, president and CEO of Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice.
