Gottliebs to be recognized at JCC’s Pro-Am Golf Tournament

The Katz JCC will host its annual Pro-Am Golf Tournament on Monday, Aug. 5 at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway.  Players will enjoy a day of golf alongside a professional golfer from the tri-state area on Galloway’s course overlooking Reeds Bay and the Atlantic City skyline.

This year’s Roger Davis Memorial Community Service Award will be presented to Laura and Jeff Gottlieb for their unwavering support of the Katz JCC. Gottlieb is a JCC Board Member of 13 years who has also served as a vice president and served as JCC president from 2015 to 2018. He has chaired the JCC Camps at Medford committee, the Woodcrest Country Club Pro-Am, several of the JCC’s major fundraisers and serves on the nominating committee.  He has received the JCC’s Alan Klein Next Generation New Leaders Award in recognition of his outstanding commitment to the Katz JCC and to the community at large.

Gottlieb has served on the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey’s Board of Directors since 2008, currently serves on the Federation Executive Committee, served as a vice president, was on the Finance, Funds Development and Budget and Allocations Committees, and with Laura, has co-chaired the Major Gifts Dinner.  He is also a recipient of the Jewish Federation’s Shellie Greenspun Young Leadership Award.

Gottlieb is the CEO of South Jersey based ResinTech, Inc. and its family of companies serving the water treatment industries.

Laura is also a devoted volunteer and lay leader to the Katz JCC and the community.  She currently participates on several JCC committees for Fitness, the Big Event, Pro-Am and most notably, was a co-chair of the Bank of America Festival of Arts, Books and Culture in 2016 and 2017.  Laura is also an active volunteer with the Jewish Community Relations Council’s BookMates program and currently chairs their steering committee. She has also served on the JFCS Special Needs and Senior Services Committees and is a member of the Lions of Judah.

Jeff and Laura have three sons: Stephen, David and Jack and their Yorkipoo, Abigail.

In addition to 18 holes of golf, the day includes a barbeque lunch, lavish cocktail hour and dinner.  Proceeds from the JCC’s Pro-Am provide critical financial assistance to hundreds of campers at the JCC Camps at Medford, affording a memorable summer experience for all, including our Open Hearts / Open Doors Special Needs Inclusion Program. Individual golfers can register at $500/player and a variety of sponsorships are available as well.
