Even with the horrendous weather on May 12 – downpouring rain and temps that never climbed above 50 degrees – we had a tremendous turnout for our RodFather Bass and Gloucester Township’s “Hooked on Fishing Not Drugs” Lake Cleanup!
40 total volunteers assisted with the clean-up.
We were able to fill several trash cans and an estimated 15 bags of garbage and debris from the water, shorelines and banks of Stewart Lake in Woodbury. Jerry Bakanowsky provided a ton of assistance by collecting eight bags of trash with his WHFD Scout Troop 151. George Daly from Heroes on the Water (South Jersey Chapter) came to assist as well.
