The Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School 5K is just over 3 weeks away and there is a lot of work to be done before the event kick-off.
Haddon PTA has only received a few non-business sponsors for the race, and is looking for more brave souls to help the cause. If you are a family within the boundaries of Lizzie Haddon and are not sponsoring as a business, please consider a donation to its fundraiser. A donation of $100 or more means your family name will appear on the commemorative t-shirt – but the cut off for sponsorship is Friday, May 31 so don’t delay.

There are no paper registrations this year for the race, except for the morning of the event. All registrations are being done online at www.lmsports.com. Those who choose to register on the morning of the race will not be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
Given that the race requires many volunteers on race day to make it a success, the Haddon PTA is looking for approximately 55-to-60 people to serve various needs. Only a fraction of those volunteer spots have been filled. If you can spare just a little over an hour of your Sunday morning to help out the children and the school itself, the Haddon PTA will certainly appreciate it. click here to volunteer.
