Gloucester Township hosted their Memorial Day service on Monday, May 27 at Lt. Col. Samuel M. Siler Veterans Memorial Park highlighted some distinguished guests as they spoke about their time in the military and why they chose to serve their country.

Guest speaker Captain Mark Bodrog, a U.S. Marine, who was deployed twice to Helmand Province, Afghanistan as an infantry officer, spoke about how he strives to honor those who lost their lives in battle and how we as a nation should keep fighting to help our veterans reintegrate back into society.
