Delran Summer Camp seeking Volunteers for August

The Delran Summer Camp is seeking volunteers. For those who need community service hours, the camp offers a “great” opportunity to have fun while fulfilling your hours.

Delran Summer Camp will be held on Aug. 5 through 9 as well as Aug. 12 through A 16. There will be games, activities and crafts for everyone. The camp will run from Monday through Friday both weeks and is open to all Delran Township residents. The camp will be held at Delran Community Park, which is located off of Hartford Road between Fairview and Route 130.

Counselors will be on staff to ensure safety and supervise the games and activities. There is no pre-registration for the camp. Daily sign-in sheets will be located at the entrance to the park. During drop-off, we will ask each parent to sign their child or children in, and provide us with some contact information.

Officials ask that all children bring water and a snack, the park will not provide food or drink. All children must be picked up no later than 1 p.m. each day of camp. Officials say “counselors will not be able to watch any child after that time.” They hope your children will come out and spend the day playing at the park, enjoying friends, seeing old friends and making new friends.
