Event times for Harrison Township Day

Check out the rough itinerary of events to occur on Harrison Township Day and things to remember. Rain date is scheduled for May 5, same time.

Main Street Parade beginning at 1p.m.:

The parade will run from Woodland Ave. to Old Town Hall. Bring your chair or pull up to a curb, performers will have three stops along Main St: Naples Pizzeria, OKKA Karate and Old Town Hall.

Entertainment on Main Stage (33 S Main St.) begins at 2 p.m.:

SASS BAND performs 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and a magician on main stage at 5 p.m.

Welcome Ceremony at 3:15 p.m. at Old Town Hall:

Join Mayor Louis Manzo and other local dignitaries (including those from South Harrison and Elk Townships) as we celebrate our 175-year anniversary and honor local resident Vince Gangemi Sr. for his many contributions to our community.

Amusements from noon until 8 p.m.:

Each ride and blowup has a minimum height requirement for your safety. Follow accordingly.

All day wristbands for the rides are $20 cash only. No credit cards or checks will be accepted. Single tickets are $1 each. Rides range from two to three tickets.

Vendors:

Vendors are open from start of the event until supplies last. It is suggested to bring cash for the vendors.

Fireworks Extravaganza on Main Street at dusk:

Sit back and relax on Main Street as we cap off a fantastic day with a spectacular fireworks display.

Transportation, Parking and Details:

Special and handicap parking available at U.S. Construction (79 South Main) and Harmony Fire Company (4 South Main).

Regular public parking lots available at Ella Harris Park, Harrison Township Municipal Building and Chianti’s.

Public Restrooms:

Main Stage Area, blueplate parking lot, OKKA parking lot, Mullica Hill Baptist Church front parking lot and Friends Meeting.

Free shuttles bus service:

Beginning at noon from Ella Harris parking lot, Municipal Building parking lot and Chianti’s parking lot.

Plus, a farmhouse festival with farm trucks, plants and flowers for sale, photo spot, garden tea party, games, music and more.
