Speakers at the workshop will focus on teaching families how their college-bound students can get more financial aid grants and scholarship opportunities.

This event is for families with high school sophomores, juniors, and even those last-minute seniors.

Speakers will outline FAFSA timelines that families needs to be aware of, as well the financial aid eligibility formula and countless other information families can use to help their students receive the maximum amount of grants, scholarships and financial aid in college.

Event organizers also encourage families who think they could never qualify for financial aid based on their high income or high assets to attend this event and learn how they might become eligible for aid.

The event will also focus on cost effective options to fund college, as well as how to avoid costly pitfalls without putting a strain on a family retirement and the rest of the family finances.

This event will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of Eastern Regional High School, 1401 Laurel Oak Road in Voorhees.

Due to the popularity of this free event, seats are expected to fill up quickly. Reservations are required to attend. Those interested can register at www.mylocalevent.org using RSVP Code: 11020.
