On Tuesday, April 23 at approximately 8 p.m., Gloucester Township Police responded to Camelot Court, in the Clementon section, for a report of an 8-year-old girl that had accidentally fallen into a fire pit and was burned.
She was treated at the scene for burns to her back and hand by emergency medical personnel and transported to St. Christopher’s Hospital in Philadelphia by helicopter as a precaution.
There is no additional information being released at this time due to the age of the child.
