Rowan College at Gloucester County students will face off against college faculty and staff on Thursday, April 25 during the Spring Swing Softball Challenge at RCGC. The match will take place at the Softball Practice Field, behind tennis courts, from 3 to 6 p.m.
Everyone is looking forward to to be a competitive matchup. Unified Sports athlete Natalie Feriozzi will sing the National Anthem, with “#1 student fan” Early Childhood Education Professor Dr. Geraldine Martin throwing out the first pitch.
This is the first time in a decade that the faculty and staff vs. student softball game has been held. It was revived thanks to the College Assembly Student Experience Committee. The Student Government Association is catering the festivities, with summertime treats of hot dogs, ice cream and tunes.
