A robbery occurred at the Republic Bank (Haddonfield Branch), 30 Kings Highway East, on Saturday, April 6.
According to Haddonfield Police, just before 6 p.m., an unknown male entered the bank and demanded money from the teller while brandishing a handgun. The male then fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as a black male dressed in boots, black pants, a black burka style dress that covered his face, and carrying a brown colored bag.
Haddonfield Police revealed on Saturday, April 13, that Daniel Weary, 27, of Philadelphia was arrested in connection with the Republic Bank robbery. Police Department detectives, as wekk as assisting agencies, developed information from evidence that led to Mr. Weary’s arrest. First and 2nd degree charges were signed today with additional to follow.
