USA Today nominates Haddonfield as a Best Historic Small Town

Citizens encouraged to vote through May 6.

Haddonfield has been nominated as a Best Historic Small Town by USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel awards.

Residents of the borough and those who have visited the town are invited to vote online daily until the voting period ends on Monday, May 6. Votes can be cast every day, once a day.

USA Today’s 10Best provides users with original, unbiased, and experiential travel content on top attractions, sights, activities and restaurants at top destinations in the United States and around the world. The leaderboard will be continuously updated as votes are cast on a daily basis and comes complete with blurbs and photos on each nominated locale.

“We are delighted to have Haddonfield included among the nominees for USA Today’s 10Best Historic Small Towns,” said Mayor Neal Rochford in a release. “The Haddonfield community takes pride in our historic roots and makes every effort in preserving them for future generations to enjoy and learn about.”

Downtown Haddonfield is home to over 200 distinct businesses, shops and dining options, many of which are established in well-preserved Colonial buildings along charming tree-lined streets.

With historic roots dating back to the 1600s, Haddonfield has long been considered one of the best small towns in the Delaware Valley and is annually voted one of the safest municipalities in the state of New Jersey.

The Top 10 winners will be announced by USA Today on Friday, May 17.
