According to the Borough of Palmyra, in May of 2017, Borough Council amended Chapter 197 of the Borough Code regulating peddling and soliciting that included a “NO KNOCK” provision, giving residents the right to be free from door to door soliciting.

Residents who wish to avoid contact with solicitors may elect to display a sticker issued by the Palmyra Police Department. Stickers should be displayed prominently on outer most front door.
Stickers are available at the police station Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
