BTPD offering medication disposal

On April 27 the Burlington Township Police Department will be accepting old prescription medications from residents for disposal.

On Saturday, April 27th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Burlington Township Police Department will be collecting prescription medication to assist in preventing pill abuse and theft by ridding residents homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

Residents may bring their pills for disposal to 851 Old York Road (this take back site cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches).

This service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. This service is not for businesses. If the original container is submitted, the individual is encouraged to remove the prescription label from the container.
