Electronics recycling in Palmyra to begin April 21

Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon, residents will be able to drop off old electronics with public works.

The Borough of Palmyra reports that in honor of Earth Day and after months of negotiations, John Haines, Superintendent of Public Works, has reached a two year agreement with a New Jersey vendor to take residents’ old electronics free of charge.

Beginning April 21, every Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, Palmyra residents can bring old electronics (computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, TVs, microwaves, radios, speakers, air conditioners, cell phones, etc…) to public works, 1 Firth Lane in Palmyra, where an employee on duty will assist as needed.
