Burlington County Health Department promotes ‘National Prescription Drug Take Back Day’ on April 27

Together, the organizations will collecting expired/unwanted/unused prescriptions at the Burlington City Police Department from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Burlington County Health Department, Southern Jersey Family Medical Centers, Inc. and the City of Burlington Police Department invite county residents to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27.

The event will take place at the Burlington City Police Department, 525 High St. in Burlington.

Together, the organizations will be collecting expired/unwanted/unused prescriptions at the Burlington City Police Department from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition, the first 40 people to drop off their expired prescriptions will receive a free lock safe box provided by The Riverfront Coalition to keep their current drugs safe.

Officials also ask that those who plan to drop off medications remember to removal any personal information that still might be on containers.
