Maryville Addiction Treatment Center has a family program every Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Gloucester County IDRC room at 121 Johnson Rd, Suite 4, Turnersville, NJ 08012. The group is open to the public to educate on addiction, recovery, treatment options, and enabling. It’s for people coping with loved ones who are in active addiction or even in recovery.

The program helps with developing coping skills for those who care about a loved one, friend or family member impacted by substance abuse. There is no cost to attend the meeting and pre-registration is not required.

Those who attend can expect to learn about education on addiction, recovery, treatment options, family dynamics and roles. What is enabling vs support and how to combat a multi-family group with an interactive component. This program is presented by Michael Girimont BA, CADC, primary counselor at Maryville.

Girimont has 20 years of experience in addictions and extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families. For more information, contact Girimont at (856) 863-3913 ext. 512 or mgirimont@maryvillenj.org.
