Evesham Police seek info on couple that allegedly distracted elderly female to steal wallet

Police say the couple later allegedly utilized two credit cards for a total loss amount of approximately $7,300.

The following information is on file with the Evesham Township Police Department:

On March 20, officials with the Evesham Township Police Department say a male and female couple allegedly stole an elderly women’s wallet out of her purse while she was shopping at Home Goods Store at 215 S. Route 73 in Marlton.

According to police, the female distracted the elderly female while the male took her wallet from inside her zippered purse.

Police say the couple later allegedly utilized two credit cards at a nearby Apple Store, Game Stop, Bed Bath and Beyond and Nordstrom Rack for a total loss amount of approximately $7,300.
