Mt. Laurel Police allegedly seize more than 100 bags of suspected heroin in latest report

On March 12 at approximately 2:29 p.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 73 and Church Road.

According to police, a female occupant allegedly showed signs of impairment and further investigation allegedly lead to the discovery of more than 100 baggies of suspected heroin allegedly in the female’s possession.

Police placed the female, out of Staten Island, N.Y., under arrest and transported her to MLPD headquarters where they processed her and released her.

Additional recent reports are as follows:

On March 17 at approximately 11:12 p.m., a 38-year-old male of Marlton was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and possession of narcotics. Police arrested the man subsequent to a car stop where the man was allegedly found to be operating under the influence. Police then transported the man to MLPD headquarters for processing.

On March 15 at approximately 11:32 p.m., police arrested an 18-year-old male for the alleged possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. Police say patrol units responded to the area of Courtney Way for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Upon arrival, police say the vehicle was located, and further investigation lead to the discovery of the alleged contraband. Police transported the man to MLPD headquarters for processing and released him.

On March 15 at approximately 12:48 a.m., Mt. Laurel Police conducted a car stop on I-295. Police say they arrested a 30-year-old female out of Delran for allegedly driving while intoxicated. Police transported the female to MLPD headquarters for processing and released her to a third party.

On March 14 at approximately 12:21 a.m., police arrested a 20-year-old male of Philadelphia for allegedly being in possession of narcotics. Police arrested the male after police conducted a car stop in the area of Route 73 and Rogers Walk. Police say further investigation allegedly lead police to the discovery of narcotics within the vehicle and police transported the man to MLPD headquarters where police processed and released him.

On March 14 at approximately 9:48 p.m., police arrested a 20-year-old male of Biddle Way subsequent to a motor vehicle stop. Police stopped the male in the area of Marne Highway and Ark Road. During the course of the motor vehicle stop, police say they allegedly observed narcotics in plain view. Police transported the man to MLPD headquarters, where police processed and released him.

On March 12 at approximately 6:25 p.m., police arrested a 27-year-old female of Mt. Holly for shoplifting. According to police, patrols responded to Target for a report of a female allegedly shoplifting. Police say they found the female to allegedly have more than $700 worth of merchandise with her without attempting to pay at the point of sale. Police say they also allegedly found the woman to have multiple active warrants out of other jurisdictions. Police transported the woman to MLPD headquarters, where police processed and released her.
