Seneca High School’s JROTC held their Change of Command ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

“The ceremony marks the change of command from the previous commander to the incoming commander,” explained Seneca senior and former Cadet Core Commander (CCC) Andrew Ballinger, who was relinquishing command to the new CCC, senior Kyle Nisley.

“Kyle will now be responsible for managing the other officers, assigning tasks for everyone to focus on, and then keeping everyone on task,” Andrew further explained.

“The most memorable part of the ceremony for me was the actual change of command,” added Kyle, “the symbolic passing of the guide (unit flag) from Andrew.”
