I am pleased to announce that the Annual Gloucester Township Business Breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 9 at The Palace. The Business Breakfast provides a great opportunity for business people from across the township and surrounding areas to meet together, network and share the progress that is happening in our community.
This is a free event sponsored by Gloucester Township Council, the Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and myself. This year, we have awards being presented in six categories including: Mayor’s Award, Small Business Award, Sustainability Award, Heritage Award, New Business Award and a Community Service Organization Award.
The Gloucester Township Economic Development Corporation (EDC) oversees an aggressive economic development program and strives to improve the economic climate in the township by attracting new businesses and helping existing businesses expand. Members include key municipal officials and experienced businesspersons. In conjunction with the EDC, Gloucester Township offers a variety of services to resident firms, developers and potential relocation prospects, including financial assistance, assistance at the regional and state level, and negotiating the permitting and funding processes.
