Eastern Regional hires new girls lacrosse coach

Gretchen Kiep has been named as the new Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the 2019 season

Eastern Regional High School’s Board of Education approved Gretchen Kiep as the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the 2019 season. She replaces Katie Lee, who resigned this past September.

Gretchen Kiep graduated cum laude from UCLA in 2017. During her lacrosse career on UCLA’s nationally ranked club team, she was a part of the first team in the school’s history to qualify for the Women’s Club Lacrosse Association (WCLA) National Tournament for four consecutive years.

Gretchen also received numerous awards and accolades as a collegiate player, which includes being named the WCLA Division One Player of the Year, a four-time WCLA Division One All-American and a four-time WCLA All-Academic American.

Gretchen served as assistant lacrosse coach at Haddonfield Memorial High School during their 2018 season, during which the team won its first NJ Group II State Championship. She also played lacrosse at Haddonfield Memorial High School, where she holds the school records for points, goals and assists.

Gretchen is passionate about working with students and teaching them the game of lacrosse. The Eastern Regional School District is extremely excited about the addition of Gretchen Kiep as the Heads Girls Lacrosse coach.
