January’s trait was ‘solve problems peacefully’.
Hawk awards are given out by a select number of teachers weekly during the month. They are to pick a student that demonstrates outstanding character and good citizenship. Each month represents a different character trait and January’s trait was “solve problems peacefully.”

In first grade are the following students Deva Reese and Mayah Shackleford.
In second grade are the following students Jestina Seng, Elizabeth Pritchett, Vincent Pustizzi, Sadie Zuba and Evangeline Connolly.
In third grade are the following students Ayris Thomas, Brielle Bennett, Bennett Durkin, Alexa Racobaldo, Jackson Balliet and Michael Messenger.
