Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield has announced the schedule for her department’s Senior Citizen’s Police Academy this spring.
The program will run on six consecutive Tuesdays from April 9 and through May 14.
A graduation ceremony will also be held on the last day of the academy.
“Our department is proud to once again offer this free program to Burlington County seniors and provide them with the opportunity to gain a wealth of information and knowledge,” Stanfield said. “Participants will interact with county law enforcement and public safety staff who will teach them how they can better protect themselves from violence, accidents and consumer fraud. All participants will also be provided with a Senior I.D.”

The classes will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Emergency Services Training Center, located at 53 Academy Drive Westampton.
