The grant would assist in getting residents input on what green practices citizens would like to see in the township
Voorhees Township has applied for a $10,000 grant through Sustainable Jersey, according to Township Administrator Larry Spellman.
The grant was authorized to be submitted at the township committee meeting Monday, Feb. 25. If received, Voorhees Township would look to form committees of residents to help determine what they would like to see in the township in terms of renewable energy and green practices.

According to Spellman, Voorhees officials expect to hear back about the grant sometime in April.
