Cherry Hill Police investigating three lewd behavior incidents

The three reports have taken place over the past three months in different areas of the township.

The Cherry Hill Police Department is investigating three reports of lewd behavior that have occurred over the course of the last few months.

The first report came in on Dec. 4. At 8:46 p.m., a female observed a male masturbating while standing outside her window in an office park located near Route 70 and Springdale Road. There was no description of the suspect.

One month later, on Jan. 6 at 11:41 p.m. a female observed a male masturbating while standing on the corner of North Birchwood Park Drive and Karen Lane. The suspect was described as an African-American male wearing a black furry coat and jeans.

The latest report came on Feb. 18. At 8:13 p.m. a female observed a male masturbating while standing outside a window of her home in the 1900 block of Greentree Road. There was no description of the suspect.

In all three instances the man fled on foot when observed. The Cherry Hill Police Department urges the public to be alert and to contact the department immediately if suspicious activity is seen.
