WTPD investigating animal cruelty incident

After a video surfaced on social media the police department began investigating

The Washington Township Police Department is investigating an animal cruelty incident after a video surfaced of a juvenile who was seen tossing two separate dogs into a chair.

According to Washington Township Police Chief Pat Gurcsik, detective Fred Volpe is conducting the investigation. Gurcsik said Volpe is trained specifically in animal cruelty.
